learning abilities, behaviors, and social-emotional development. Early identification and intervention provide the foundation for the lifetime ability to successfully learn and develop close, secure relationships with peers and caring adults in order for them to reach their full potential.
The Disabilities and Mental Health program serve children with special needs and their families in an inclusive environment. The Disabilities Mental Health service area ensures that children, families, and staff are supported through ongoing professional development, classroom observation, individual family services plans, individual education plans, and social-emotional plans.
Modifying lessons, recommending evidence-based strategies, speech therapy, and coordinating services between school districts and ECI, are among many of the services provided when your child with a special need is enrolled in the program
