Public Relations & Community Engagement

The ESC Region 19 Head Start Public Relations and Community Engagement (PRCE) service area is committed to building positive, long-term relationships in the community, and increasing the awareness of the program's mission and advocacy for children and families served.

The Public Relations and Community Engagement service area serves as a conduit between the program and its stakeholders fostering two-way communication at all times through the use and implementation of communications and marketing strategies.

The Public Relations and Community Engagement service area seeks to (a) establish ongoing recruitment strategies and activities (b) develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders (c) achieve coordinated and well-planned communications, both internally and externally utilizing a comprehensive media mix and new and innovative communications and marketing resources and promotional materials (d) establish and maintain a proactive media relations program and (e) utilize multimedia, digital content and social networks in support of marketing and outreach activities.

Areas of service include public relations and engagement, community outreach and marketing, and digital and multimedia communications.
