Dear Parents and Children

Welcome to a new school year filled with good vibes! Our goal at Options Head Start is to give children a strong start in learning. Established in 2016 within OPTIONS HIGH SCHOOL, we support teen parents by providing childcare in the same building, allowing them to graduate high school. We also serve parents in the community, helping them pursue work or further education. Our program promotes growth in key areas: learning approaches, social-emotional development, language, literacy, cognition, and physical development.

We encourage you to get involved! We value family engagement and welcome parents to volunteer and participate in their child's education.

About Us

Options Head Start is located inside Options High School, on El Paso’s East Side, in the Socorro Independent School District.

The center opened in July of 2016, and serves children ages 3-4 years, and Early Head Start infants and toddlers ages 0-36 months.

Options Head Start serves teen parents and expectant teen mothers.
