Education incentives for Head Start teachers ensure that our community’s youngest learners receive the highest quality education. ESC19 Head Start teachers and teacher assistants who are enrolled in college or university receive a monetary stipend for each credit hour completed, as well as upon earning their associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
Many Head Start teachers are current or former Head Start parents, strengthening their connection to the community and providing them with unique insight into the program's premier early education environment.
By investing in continuous educational and professional growth, ESC19 Head Start empowers teachers to deliver exceptional learning experiences, benefiting the children they serve and furthering Head Start’s mission as a leader in early childhood education.
