Local magician George Diazo brought enchantment and wonder to Sparks Head Start with an interactive and jaw-dropping children's magic show.
Diazo artfully entertained children and teachers with witty humor, awe-inspiring illusions, and sleight-of-hand thaumaturgy.
The classroom -packed with an audience of sixty-four children and staff- resonated with gleeful laughter and gasps of disbelief as the mischievous magician made rabbits appear, tables levitate, children float in thin air, and birds land atop heads - to the delight of his squealing young volunteers.
"It all started with my own child," said Diazo, a Head Start parent and father of two, " I went to my son's Head Start center and did a performance there, and I've really enjoyed performing for Head Start children ever since."
The wizardry performance brought a refreshingly new form of entertainment to Sparks Head Start as the children and staff prepared for the end-of-the-year graduations and summer break.
