General Educational Development (GED)

Interested in getting your GED? We can help! All classes are instructor led and with weekly lessons that are aligned to course materials. The GED classes will prepare Head Start parents to be tested on their ability to comprehend, process information, solve problems, and communicate effectively. The class instruction includes the four separate testing subjects: Reasoning Through Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science. Open enrollment is held throughout the school year.  



Requirements:  Must be a parent, legal guardian or family member of an enrolled child in the Head Start Program and be living in the same household as the child.

Registration:  
August - February


Time:

  • Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Session: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.


Location:  
All classes are currently being held virtually
